A message from Carla, founder of impact agency studio

Hello! I’m Carla Costa, and my work has always been about authenticity, impact, and making it accessible for everyone to succeed.

With 25+ years in marketing, business leadership, and operations, I’ve worked with global brands across industries – learning what truly drives success. I’ve worn many hats: business leader, award-winning digital marketer during Covid, mentor, founder, and creative. But at my core, I’m a problem solver who believes in making things happen.

Born in Lisbon, I had to became financially independent at 18. Five years later, I took a one-way ticket to London, drawn by its inclusive and creative energy. My journey in advertising and marketing took me around the world, increasing my expertise while I continued studying business, marketing, and sustainability leadership.

Creativity and curiosity has always been part of my DNA. It led me to study Interior Design, briefly working and collaborating with icons like Kelly Hoppen and Tom Dixon, and following my passion for craftsmanship – culminating with launching a social enterprise atelier in 2008 to revive traditional upholstery in Portugal. Teaching, mentoring, and coaching individuals in their entrepreneurial journeys has been a career highlight, earning me a government award for innovation and entrepreneurship.
